This artist’s book accompanies Tony Cokes’s SM BNGRZ series, that takes as its starting point Rainald Goetz’s book Rave to analyze club culture as the celebration of life and political resistance. The layout of the book uses the same, distinctive aesthetics as Cokes’s video work — translating it in print so that each copy is unique, with a distinctive color pattern. The book also provides the tracklist of the project.
