In conjunction with Rachel Harrison Life Hack, art historian Alex Kitnick and writer Laura Cottingham discuss the exhibition and Harrison’s practice.

For this series of in-gallery talks, Rachel Harrison invites artists and writers to speak about the works on view and to offer their unique perspectives on her wide-ranging practice.

Alex Kitnick is assistant professor of art history and visual culture at Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. An art historian and critic, his writing has appeared in a range of publications including Artforum, May, and October.

Laura Cottingham is a writer, artist, and filmmaker based in New York. Her books include Seeing Through the Seventies: Essays on Feminism and Art (2000), Lesbians Are So Chic… (1996), and Fear Eats The Soul (2005), her book for BFI’s film classics series on Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s film of the same name.

Ticket holders are invited to view the exhibition beginning at 6:30 pm.
