Jim Drain lives and works in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Recent solo exhibitions include Prism Gallery, Los Angeles (2012); the De la Cruz Collection, Miami (2010); Blanton Museum, Austin, Texas (2009); Drantmann Gallery, Brussels (2004); and was in a group exhibition at the RISD Museum, Providence, Rhode Island (2014).


His work is in the collections of Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art, Oslo, Norway
; Miami Art Museum, Miami, Florida
; Rhode Island School of Design Museum of Art, Providence, Rhode Island; and Museum of Modern Art, New York.
